I am a HUGE fan of the Beatles... and next week I get to go watch a tribute group for the 3rd time... These guys are great!! I am so excited!! I love love love the Beatles!!!

Enjoying My Honey

Brien has been home for a little over 2 months now and it has been great having hime home! I do admit it has taken some getting used to having him home after living alone for 14 months... but I wouldn'd have it any other way... Its amazing how you adapt to having to live alone and then quickly change back when that loved one comes back home!

We were able to spend a week down in the Houston area after he came home which was nice to just get away from everything and just relax. He was there to get his new truck but I guess there has to be some reasoning behind getting a man to go somewhere with you.... We went to Kemah Boardwalk and then the the beach another day... It was really nice to get away and especially nice getting to spend some time with my sister!

We are now back to the normal blow and go of life and no babies are in our near future for those of you who are wondering... maybe someday.... We are just enjoying life and each other.

It is also not looking as though he will have to go back anytime soon... at least not for a couple of years!!! Thank goodness!!!

TEXAS!!!

As of 0100 August 18th, My husband is in TEXAS!!! He still has a week of demobilization to go through but he is so close I can almost feel his arms around me!! I am so so ready to have him HOME!!!

Well,
My honey is to be home in about a month... I have so much to do around the house its not even remotely funny. I need to finish setting up our front room into the scrapbook/workout room, as well as make our house completely presentable. I mean he hasn't been here for a year... I don't want anything to be wrong for his homecoming... OMG!!! What will I ever do!!!

Yet time can't pass fast enough... what a "Catch 22"

Crazy!!!

Do you know the feeling you get when you have stayed awake just too too long????
Eyes feel glazed over, try to go on about the day but your mind is clouded to where nothing seems to feel right?

That is how my whole life is right about now..... I do get sleep don't get me wrong but I just feel clouded and can't keep my mind focused. I feel as though I could grab ahold of something and just scream.... and then just burst out into tears at any given moment. I know it is just the emotions of Brien being gone and the extent of time he has been gone but I just don't know!!! I absolutely feen for when he will call or message me but then when we quit talking I feel as though I have this big hugh hole in me. I sometimes don't know if talking to him is better or worse.

I just don't know======

Time was not on my side....

Well my time with Brien has come and gone.... It seems as though I blinked and it was gone, and he was here a whole 2 weeks. The whole time was extremely enjoyable though. We were able to enjoy our time together and still have fun.

We went out several times and of course stayed in ALOT!!! Even had a few cookouts/ Ins!! The rain moved some of the Outs to Ins... but all in all I can say that it was a very very nice 2 weeks just didn't last at all long enough!!!!

We even had to advert a disaster in our house together... My parents were out of town so I don't know what I would of done if I would of had to fix it all by myself.... We went to see the opening of Wolverine at midnight on Thursday night/Friday morning and when we got home at about 2:30 we walked into our kitchen/dining room half full of water.... yeah thats right... hot water heater decided to act a fool.... a few hours of trying to stop the leak/ or at least slow it and cleaning water and we finally just went to bed and got up every little bit and emptied the pitcher under the leak and just called a plumber in the AM!!! It was an adventure... I guess you could say "Welcome to House Ownership"!!!

Excited!!!!

I am patiently waiting for the next 21 days to pass.....

just waiting and waiting and waiting!!!!

38 days and counting!!! Could be even sooner!!!

Hurry up and WAIT...

Sometimes I think that this is all that I do.... being a military wife and all...

FOUR DAY LEAVE...

I was able to fly down to Georgia and spend about 7 days with Brien before he left.... It was both the best and worst four days ever!!! I didn't want them to end. It was so relieving to be in his arms again but yet heartbreaking to know that it would soon end....

I know that is has to start to be over but this whole thing is just very hard.... Just an emotional rollercoaster!

Savannah was very beautiful nothing like here... but then again I didn't see much of it.. I was too busy in the hotel room..... LOL!

All I know is that this is really wearing on my emotions and it has not even really started yet.... Even though he has been gone for 5 months already.... Ugh 9 more to go!!

Happening Again!

I was looking back and I started this blog back when my now husband.... then boyfriend left for Iraq.... well guess what.... He has frickin left again!! I know I knew what I was getting into when I fell for this man..... but this shit really sucks! Nothing in the house is the same.... It is hard to sleep or even just be... with him gone.

I would not recommend this to anyone.....unless you are utterly sure it is what you really want and that you are ready for it!

Oh what a Van

I came apon this monstosity when i was walking to my car one morning and couldn't help but take a picture..... this is a leopard van.... complete with a leopard head on the front. Who on earth would want to drive around in this thing.........and what were they thinking!!!




To make things even better...........I was driving around town a few days later and saw it again and noticed it even has a tail on the back......

Engagement

He finally popped the question and of course i answered with a YES!!! I mean I have been waiting on this for how long?? He took me to a fancy little resturant and asked me there.

If you get a chance to go here you should definately go.... but dress up.... I wouldn't walk in there in my gym clothes....

I love my ring............. and I love him and all of his little quirks..

Well...........I have entered the world of house buying.....and it is way too complicated for my tastes............can't you just let me give you some money and me get a house????

I mean come on???

Tattoo.........only a dream

Now if I actually had the balls I would get a tattoo.........but I don't so I just occationally dream of what tattoo I might get.. here is my latest dream.

but I don't really like the colors......but I dont know what I would change them to either.... or I would get this one........

but I would want the lines to cross over like the other one not open up into each other...... too many choices...this is why I just dream....!!!

I'm gonna be a Mom

Yup you read it right. It has happened... the rumors have come true. I am going to be a mom. Just kidding I am getting two puppies in a few weeks. That is just as good as being a mom. Brien and I live together so I am here during the day and he is here during the night so they won't ever be alone for too long. I know that is what you were worried about Mel. They are a couple of weeks old so they will come home in a few weeks. They are twins..... meaning they look exactly alike boy and girl, English Bulldogs.
I wasn't able to get a great picture of them put this one will work. Maybe I'll get a better one soon.

After a long long time.........I'm back

Well at least long enough to make Melanie happy!!! This one is for you Mel. It has been a long time since the last time I blogged because i spend all my time with Brien. Oh yes and at work. I reciently got a new bed.. well mattress and i have slept really well since then. I better since I had to go to san antonio to get it. I want to go to day shift but my ass of a boss won't let me.. he thinks I am hard to replace.........I think he should pay me like I am hard to come by. I did put in to only work 72 hours instead of 84 but i don't even know if he will let me do that.
I also make a very risky decision about May. I moved in with Maisha, I know I know I am crazy but she is never there so it has worked out pretty good. I really like the house and like the neighborhood. My car did get hit by a paintball but it didn't seem to hurt anything. Brien pretty much lives with me and we get along fantastic. I love having him around all the time. Brien's 21st birthday is this friday. I have to work so I won't get to celebrate with him he is a little pissed about it but there is not a lot I can do about it. He will fianlly be 21 and we can go party I can't wait. He can't wait either. I don't really have any more pictures. This one is from Easter. There you so Mel you don't have to look up his nose.
