After a week he finally called

It had been over a week since I had talked to Brien and I was starting to get worried but he finally called today. Well he actually called like 4 times but that was because the phones in kuwait were messing up and kept cutting us off. From what I can tell he is doing well, he is just very bored and ready to come home. I just had a weekend off and the next time I have a weekend off I will be heading down to waco to see him!!!!!! Can you believe it?? I know that I can't. It seems as though this past year has just flown by. Now I know it doesn't seem that way to my friends because they had to put up with me this whole entire year. But that is why they are my friends.
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail but your best friend will be sitting there with you saying Man that was fun!!!!

Well, I have been looking at the calendar and my soldier will be home very very very soon. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. And I have done nothing in this year either, how sad is my life. I am sure Melanie has thought this year has drug on forever since all i ever do is talk about brien and if he has called me lately.
Mel and I went and watched Jarhead together and she has a whole new look on soldiers, well mine anyway.
Look at this fine piece of soldier boy. MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm Good. Mine looks simular. Man do I miss him. But if this one shows up at my door, I don't think I could turn him down. No I would be plum crazy to turn him down.
Well anyway work is pretty much the exact same as always. Swimming is going very well. Maisha has been coming with us.........that is a sight. I will have to capture a few shots and post them. hahaha

Well, I went and watched the movie JarHead today. The movie is about some Marines in the Gulf War (I think). Well the movie made me miss my soldier greatly.
To make matters worse after watching the movie my soldier called. He is doing well and will be back in the states in a couple of weeks. I am so ready!! I still don't know exactly where the calling card minutes went to but I guess I'll never know.
Well, all I can say is this movie makes me love my soldier even more.

I have joined, or am going to join a local gym. It has tons of things to do but I mainly go to swim. I have been swimming since I was in diapers and love it. So when Melanie told me about this gym I had to jump on it. We go every morning between 6 and 6:30am. I know what you are thinking, Brooke up that early in the morning??? I couldn't believe it either but it is amazing what someone will do for the love of swimming.

The past two nights I have been at work with a lot of no brainers!!!!! Literally!!! Out of the 7 patients in the ICU 5 of them were head patients and were not looking good. I just have to say....... Wear a FUCKING helmet when driving a motorcycle! How hard is that to understand? Huh Ken Haney how hard is it????

Well, I went out of town this past weekend and didn't tell anyone really. So therefore I am in trouble. Sorry Mel. I am also sorry you had to work with Clyde, oh yeah he is on your block!!! HaHa. I went out of town with some family and really had a great time. I am glad to be home and able to sleep in my bed though. I had several hateful messages on my cell phone.

Work Sucks!!!

Well, I spent the last couple of days at work and may I just say it sucked. The first day we spent the first couple of hours transfering patients from one unit to the other. The rest of the night was spent answering unnessesary pages from the lovely floor that knows how to do nothing but bitch and call for RESPIRATORY!!!!! Now the second night was mainly answering pages from the same floor. Don't worry the patients in the ICU don't need their therapist I'm sure it is okay for the CRITICAL CARE therapist to be on the floor with the needy nurses!!
Now this is what I really need!!............................................................
I don't really see it happening any time soon. Okay I have to make a trip to wal-mart. Which that will be an adventure. I need food. Must have food or I will die!

Mainly I just wish I was more like this ... Care free and drunk!!!! Well I can't be like this always so I guess I will just have to be happy. This is my all time best friend Lacie. She lives in Amarillo so I don't get to see her much but when I do... I make the most of it.

Wow, man do I bitch an aweful lot. I have been off for the past two days and have watched a total of about 8 or 9 hours of the tv show the O.C.. I borrowed the first two seasons from Brien and have gotten totally hooked on the show. So I am rotting my mind with television when I should be working out or doing something productive. Oh well..........

Then the world (well my world) would be perfect.........
